The Journey to Acara 

Christina’s professional journey has uniquely prepared her for her current leadership role at Acara. With a Master’s in Business Management from NMIMS University (Narsee Monjee University of Management Studies), she began her career as a Quality Manager in the mortgage industry, where she developed strong process optimization skills and a keen eye for detail. 

Her path continued through roles as a Client Relations Officer at an international business information company, where she honed her communication and client management abilities. Later, while working with a French psychometric test publisher, Christina gained a valuable global perspective and analytical insights that would prove essential in her future endeavors. 

“My career has shaped my skills for my current role,” Christina reflects. “At Acara, I leverage these experiences to drive business growth, improve client satisfaction, and identify new opportunities, ensuring our solutions meet the diverse needs of our clients and foster long-term relationships.” 

Making an Impact at Acara 

As Associate Vice President for Business Growth, Christina’s responsibilities are multifaceted and dynamic. Her day-to-day work involves acquiring new clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring revenue growth through successful candidate placements. However, her vision extends beyond the numbers. 

“Every day presents an exciting opportunity to drive growth, build relationships, and navigate the ever-evolving business landscape,” Christina explains. “Beyond revenue targets, I’m dedicated to maintaining client satisfaction and forging long-term partnerships while expanding our services across diverse industries.” 

Leadership is a cornerstone of Christina’s approach. She emphasizes creating an environment where collaboration thrives, goals are clear, and team members feel empowered to perform at their best. “Effective leadership means providing the support and direction necessary to overcome obstacles, ensuring we’re always delivering exceptional results for our clients,” she notes.

“The industry has evolved with technological advancements, the rise of remote work, and a demand for specialized skills,” Christina observes. “Acara is actively working towards embracing AI-driven recruitment to enhance our hiring process, focusing on diversity and inclusion, and staying agile to meet the changing needs of clients and candidates.” 

Looking ahead, Christina envisions an industry transformed by AI, automation, and data-driven recruitment. She believes the rise of remote work and flexible arrangements will continue to redefine workplace norms, while a focus on diversity and inclusion will increasingly shape hiring practices. 

“The industry will become more technology-integrated, personalized, and agile, offering innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of both clients and candidates,” she predicts.

Christina brings a distinctive perspective to her role at Acara. “I am well-suited for this role because I bring a unique perspective and a creative, out-of-the-box approach to business,” she explains. “I focus on innovative strategies that can scale our services effectively while driving operational efficiency.”

What excites Christina most about her work? “It’s the opportunity to lead and grow,” she says simply. Even the challenges—navigating rapid market changes and adapting to evolving client expectations—make her role more rewarding and engaging. 

When asked to describe Acara in one word, Christina’s response is telling: “Client-focused.” This perspective aligns perfectly with Acara’s mission to deliver exceptional talent solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. 

Life Beyond the Office 

Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends, which brings her joy and connection. An avid reader with a strong interest in personal development and leadership, she’s constantly seeking new perspectives and knowledge. 

“I’m also passionate about traveling, exploring new cultures, and learning from diverse experiences, which constantly inspire and expand my worldview,” she shares. 

Few people know about Christina’s deep interest in psychology and behavioral science. “I love understanding how people think and what drives decision-making, which is why I find psychometric testing and human behavior so fascinating,” she reveals. “It has helped me in both my personal life and professional role, especially in understanding team dynamics and client needs.” 

This insight into human behavior undoubtedly contributes to Christina’s effectiveness in building strong client relationships and leading her team at Acara. 

Christina maintains a work-life balance through organization and open communication with both family and colleagues. Her ideal day off revolves around quality time with loved ones, whether at home or exploring new places. For longer breaks, she gravitates toward the beach—a place to unwind, reflect, and embrace the serene beauty of nature. 

If time and money were no object, Christina’s travel destinations would be Japan and New Zealand. “Japan fascinates me with its unique blend of ancient traditions and modern innovations,” she explains, “while New Zealand’s stunning natural landscapes and commitment to environmental sustainability would offer a peaceful and inspiring retreat.” 

Making a Difference 

At her core, Christina is driven by a desire to empower others. “I am passionate about empowering others. Whether it’s through personal development, professional mentorship, or simply offering support, I believe that helping people grow creates a ripple effect that can lead to lasting, positive change.”
